Two days after releasing the GM (Golden Master) development milestones of its soon-to-be-released iOS 11, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11 operating systems, Apple today published the GM version of macOS High Sierra 10.13.

The major update for Mac users is expected to launch in less than two weeks from today's release of the Golden Master version, which should be identical to the final build that's expected to hit the streets on September 25, 2017, at 10 a.m. PT (5 p.m. GMT) worldwide.

While iOS 11, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11 are all expected to launch early next week, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, also at 10 a.m. PT or 5 p.m. GMT, it will take Apple another week to prepare the final release of macOS High Sierra 10.13, which promises to elevate your Mac.

However, macOS 10.13 High Sierra will only be supported on MacBook Pro 2010 or later, MacBook Late 2009 or later, MacBook Air 2010 or later, iMac Late 2009 or later, Mac Mini 2010 or later, as well as Mac Pro 2010 or later models.

Here's how to install the GM version of macOS High Sierra 10.13

If you're a registered app developer with an active Apple Developer subscription, you can install the GM (Golden Master) candidate version of macOS High Sierra 10.13 right now on your Mac if you download the installer from your Apple Developer's Downloads section using the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility.

Apple says that the macOS 10.13 High Sierra GM candidate must be downloaded manually by using the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility and downloading the update from the Mac App Store if you're running the 10th Beta milestone that was released a couple of weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the macOS Server 5.4 update stays at the Beta 5 milestone released in mid-August. The macOS Server 5.4 update can be used with macOS 10.13 High Sierra and should also see the light of day on September 25, along with the Xcode 9 IDE and the Apple Configurator 2 app that helps you deploy multiple configured iOS devices.
