Apple released today the fifth beta builds of its upcoming iOS 11.2, macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 operating system to developers registered via company's Apple Developer website.

These developer beta 5 builds come less than two weeks after the fourth beta versions, and are available for download right now for supported devices from your Apple Developer account under the "Downloads" section. They've been tagged as builds 15C5111a for iOS 11.2 beta 5, 17C83a for macOS 10.13.2 beta 5, and 15K5105a for tvOS 11.2 beta 5.

They don't introduce any new features except for various security patches and bug fixes to improve the overall stability, security, compatibility, and reliability of Apple's upcoming iOS 11.2, macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 operating systems for supported iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac, and Apple TV devices. For now, watchOS 4.2 hasn't received a new beta so it remains at beta 4.

Public Beta 5 of iOS 11.2, macOS 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 out now

Public beta testers will also be able to install the new iOS 11.2, macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 betas as Apple released equivalent beta builds for public testing today. So expect to be able to install the iOS 11.2, macOS 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 Public beta 5 on your supported devices very soon.

The final releases of Apple's iOS 11.2, macOS 10.13.2 High Sierra, tvOS 11.2, and watchOS 4.2 operating systems are almost here, and they will introduce a bunch of new features and improvements over previous versions. Most probably, they'll be released next month worldwide for all supported devices, and are recommended to all users.

If you can't wait until then and want to give iOS 11.2, tvOS 11.2, and macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 a try, you can install the latest beta versions using the in-depth tutorials we provide on our website (herehere and here). However, please keep in mind that you shouldn't install beta software on your device if you want to have a very stable experience.

Update: Apple also released the iOS 11.2 Public beta 5, macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Public beta 5, and tvOS 11.2 Public beta 5 updates so we modified our story accordingly to reflect this. Public beta testers are encourage to update their devices to beta 5 as soon as possible.
