A day after releasing the third beta of its upcoming iOS 11.3, macOS High Sierra 10.13.4, and tvOS 11.3 operating systems, Apple seeded today the third watchOS 4.3 beta to registered developers.

The watchOS 4.3 beta 3 release is tagged as build 15T5187e and it can be downloaded via Over-the-Air (OTA) updates or by installing the profile from the Downloads section of your Apple Developer account on your enrolled Apple Watch device if you're an application developer developing apps for Apple's watchOS ecosystem.

The watchOS 4.3 software update includes the watchOS 4.3 SDK (Software Development Kit), which provides developers with the support they need to design and build watchOS apps for Apple's upcoming watchOS 4.3 operating system. The watchOS 4.3 SDK comes bundled with the Xcode 9.3 IDE (Integrated Development Environment).

Here's what's new in watchOS 4.3 beta 3

Not much has changed since the previous beta release of watchOS 4.3, as the release notes show that Apple addressed an issue where the battery complication reported remaining battery percentage in increments of 5, as well as an issue that won't allow the weather app to report weather information for greater China.

Other than that, Apple says that if you're unable to install the latest watchOS 4.3 beta on your Apple Watch 1st Generation smartwatch, you should remove any existing beta software profile, update to the stable watchOS 4.2.2 release, re-install the beta software profile, and then update to watchOS 4.3 beta 3.

However, Apple recommends installing the watchOS beta software update only on devices dedicated to watchOS beta software development. That's why the company doesn't provide public beta releases of its Apple Watch operating system, but only for iOS, macOS, and tvOS.
