Apple released today the third set of beta releases for its upcoming iOS 11.2, macOS High Sierra 10.13.3, watchOS 4.2, and tvOS 11.2 operating systems to registered developers via the Apple Developer website.

The new betas come only one week after the second beta versions and they are tagged as build 15C5107a for iOS 11.2 beta 3, 17C76a for macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta 3, 15S5100a for watchOS 4.2 beta 3, and 15K5099a for tvOS 11.2 beta 3, and can be downloaded right now for your supported devices from your Apple Developer account.

IPSW downloads are also available for download right now from our website for iOS 11.2 beta 3 for iPhone and iPod touch and iPad devices, as well as macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta 3, watchOS 4.2 beta 3, and tvOS 11.2 beta 3. These are useful if you want to update your devices running a previous beta version or upgrade from a stable iOS 11 build using the iTunes software on Mac or Windows.

Public Beta 3 of iOS 11.2, macOS 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 coming soon

One of the new features coming to the iOS 11.2 software update is Apple Pay Cash support, which lets users send and receive money via the Messages app, along with introductory pricing for auto-renewable subscriptions, which is also available in the macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 update. On the other hand, tvOS 11.2 promises automatic mode switching to native dynamic range and frame rate of video content on Apple TV 4K devices.

In addition, the tvOS 11.2 software update adds support for switching Apple TV 4K display output to SDR for GPU-bound apps running in HDR, enables automatic use of region during setup and support for changing the region to suggest refresh rate of 50Hz or 60Hz, and restores the "Unwatched" category in Home Sharing for Movies, Home Videos, and TV Shows.

If you're an application developer developing apps for Apple's iOS, macOS, tvOS, or watchOS ecosystem, you need to install the latest beta software and make sure your apps are fully compatible with the upcoming operating system. To update from last week's beta 2 release, simply use the OTA update system for iOS, tvOS, and watchOS, as well as the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility for macOS.

Public Beta 3 release of iOS 11.2, macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 are expected to arrive as well in the coming hours. It usually takes Apple up to 24 hours to seed the public beta software updates to public beta testing users, but rest assured that we'll update this story to let you know when they're out so you can install them on your devices. But please note that these are pre-release software, not suitable for use in production devices.

Update: As promised, we're happy to inform you that the iOS 11.2, macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, and tvOS 11.2 Public Beta 3 updates are now available for public testing.
