Just one day after releasing the third Public and Developer Beta of the upcoming iOS 10.1 and tvOS 10.0.1 operating systems, Apple has seeded today, October 11, 2016, the fourth Beta of its macOS 10.12.1 Sierra OS for Macs.

Tagged as build 16B2548a, macOS Sierra 10.12.1 Beta 4 is now available, as mentioned before, for both public beta testers and application developers enrolled into the Apple Developer program, which they can install as we speak via the Mac App Store if they're using the third Beta of a previous one.

As expected, the new Beta of the first point release of the latest macOS 10.12 Sierra operating system is available for all supported devices by the previous version, including the latest MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, and Mac Mini models. A detailed list can be viewed on the official website.

Here's how to install the macOS Sierra 10.12.1 Public Beta

We believe that developers already know how to install the Beta versions of the macOS Sierra operating system, but for the regular Jane and Joe, who have never done that before, we've prepared an in-depth tutorial that will help them achieve just that and upgrade from the macOS Sierra 10.12 release to 10.12.1.

However, we have to warn you that Beta releases are not the final product, as they may contain unknown issues which will be resolved in future Betas. As such, if you want a stable and reliable macOS Sierra experience, do not install the Public Beta versions. Instead, wait for the final release of macOS 10.12.1 Sierra, which is just weeks away.

Later this fall, macOS Sierra 10.12.1 will become the first point release of the macOS Sierra 10.12 operating system, adding various under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes to enhance the usability, stability, and security of your Mac. It is a recommended update for anyone using macOS 10.12 Sierra.
