Apple on Monday released the fifth Beta of the upcoming iOS 11, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11 operating systems to registered developers enrolled in the Apple Developer program.

The Beta 5 release comes, as expected, two weeks after the fourth Beta, which brought a lot of goodies on iOS 11, including new icons for several apps, the ability to clear lock screen notifications using swipe gestures, a separate AirDrop section in Settings, and the ability to refresh the Updates tab of the App Store to check for new updates.

And now, developers can update their iOS 11, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11 Beta operating systems to the Beta 5 release, which should bring an extra layer of performance improvements, along with more visual tweaks that will soon be unveiled. The fifth Beta builds are available for download from your Apple Developer account or via OTA updates.

Public Beta 4 of iOS 11, macOS 10.13, and tvOS 11 should be publicly available in the next 24 hours.

We're getting closer and closer to the final releases of Apple's upcoming major iOS 11, macOS 10.13, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11 operating systems, which will receive at least one more Beta release in about two weeks from today, on August 21, 2017. After that, we expect to see Apple sending invites to the media for an early or mid-September event where they will announce new iPhone models powered by iOS 11.
