Just three days after seeding iOS 10.2 Beta 5 and Public Beta 5, Apple released new Beta builds of its upcoming iOS 10.2, macOS Sierra 10.12.2, and watchOS 3.1.1 operating systems, and this time they are available to both registered developers and public beta testers on the same day.

iOS 10.2 Beta 6 and Public Beta 6 are here and tagged as builds 14C90 and 14C91, depending on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch device used. On the other hand, users will be able to test drive the macOS Sierra 10.12.2 Beta 5 and Public Beta 5 releases, which are tagged as build 16C60b, and the fifth Beta of watchOS 3.1.1, tagged as build 14S883.

Looking at the release notes for iOS 10.2 Beta 6/Public Beta 6, we can notice that Apple once again improved its new TV app, which should no longer crash or display the "TV is unavailable" error on iPod touch devices, as well as to no longer delete its library content when attempting to sync your device with iTunes 12.5 up to 12.5.3.

iOS 10.2 should hit the streets as soon as next week

Considering the fact that the winter holidays are approaching fast, Apple will try to wrap things up as soon as possible and release the final versions of the iOS 10.2, macOS Sierra 10.12.2, watchOS 3.1.1, and tvOS 10.1, which are considered point releases that improve the stability, security, and compatibility of your devices.

If you plan on test driving the new Beta builds released by Apple today, we recommend installing them if you're currently using a previous development version. Otherwise, if you're still using iOS 10.1.1 or macOS Sierra 10.12.1, we suggest that you wait a little longer before updating to iOS 10.2 or macOS Sierra 10.12.2.

At the moment of writing this article, the tvOS 10.1 Beta build remains at version 4, for 4th generation Apple TV devices, and we have no idea if Apple plans on seeding a new Beta. Same goes for the upcoming Xcode 8.2 IDE, which is currently at Beta 2. Xcode 8.2 will include SDKs for iOS 10.2, macOS 10.12.2, watchOS 3.1.1, and tvOS 10.1.
