All users can now install the new beta builds

We reported the other day that Apple seeded the third Beta builds of all of its upcoming operating systems, including iOS 10.3, macOS Sierra 10.12.4, watchOS 3.2, and tvOS 10.2, to registered developers that have an active Apple Developer account.

As expected, 24 hours after the release of the Beta 3 developer builds, Apple pushed new Public Beta builds, the third in the current development series, for iOS 10.3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4, which anyone who owns a supported iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac device can install.

We managed to install the iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3 release on our iPhone 6 smartphone, so we can report that after a few hours of testing we find this new development build a lot faster than the Public Beta 2 one, which was released two weeks ago. As you can see from the attached screenshot, iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3 has only 315MB in size.

As such, and as we told you in our yesterday's report, the changes implemented in these third Beta builds are small. Apple only managed to fix some bugs, in particular for the upcoming Find My AirPods feature, which you can test drive if you install the iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3 on your iPhone 7 and you own a pair of AirPods.

Not recommended for the faint of heart

iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4 Public Beta 3 are now available for installation for those who use either the first or second Public Beta. They can be easily installed from the OTA (Over-the-Air) update system for iOS 10.3, as well as directly from the Mac App Store for macOS Sierra 10.12.4.

We recommend using our in-depth tutorials here and here to learn how to install the newest Public Beta builds of the iOS 10 and macOS Sierra 10.12 operating systems. However, we don't recommend them to the faint of heart, those who are scared that their precious devices might crash or not work correctly when using these pre-releases.
