A curated list of sixteen iOS applications designed to showcase all the new features available for iPhone 6s users has been published by Apple on the iTunes Store.

All the apps in the list allow you to get acquainted with the new 3D Touch style of navigating between apps, as well as the Quick Actions available only on Apple's iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices.

The list starts with Apple's iMovie and also features multimedia oriented apps like Shazam, Hipstamatic, Instagram, Touchnote, Camera+ and Magic Piano.

Productivity apps have also been included, with OmniFocus, Dropbox and Workflow being the ones you would certainly need if you want to keep your files in sync and your task list under close watch.

Social networking apps also come with their own pinch of 3D Touch goodness, Pinterest and Twitter being two of the first applications that added support for iOS 9 and Apple's latest iPhone models.

The apps handpicked by Apple to showcase iPhone 6s' 3D Touch display come from all walks of life

If you want to get a taste of what your new iPhone is capable of and also desire to give the new 3D Touch features in iOS 9 a quick spin, head over to the "Amazing Apps for iPhone 6s" page on the iTunes Store and install the ones you deem fit for your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus.

Be advised, though, once you start using applications that come with 3D Touch support, you will want all your other apps to be capable of the same tricks, but it might take a while until their development teams manage to add compatibility for both the iPhone 6s and the new iOS 9 features.
