Apple released a few moments ago the fifth developer beta update for its upcoming macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 operating system to registered developers with a paid and active Apple Developer account.

Tagged as build 17B46a, macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 Beta 5 is now available to download from your Apple Developer account on the Downloads page, which means that you can install it right now on your registered MacBook or iMac device. To update, simply run the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility.

If you're already using a previous macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 beta, you can easily update to the fifth beta release via the Mac App Store. Same goes for public beta testers, but Apple is yet to publish the Public Beta 5 update to those enrolled in its Apple Beta Software Program.

If you're willing to give macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 Beta 5 a try, we've prepared a tutorial to make the entire process a breeze. Once you've enrolled your Mac, download and install the latest beta release, you'll automatically receive notifications when new macOS betas become available to download.

macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 final release launching soon

macOS 10.13.1 High Sierra Beta 5 supports MacBook Late 2009 or iMac Late 2009 or newer computers, as well as MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, and Mac mini computers build after 2010. This will be the first point release for the High Sierra series, improving the security, compatibility, and stability of your Mac.

Considering the fact that this is the second macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 beta published in a week, it looks like Apple is preparing to unleash the final release soon, along with the iOS 11.1, tvOS 11.1, and watchOS 4.1 software updates for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, and Apple Watch devices respectively.
