The new iPod touch introduces new colors

On July 15, Apple announced the immediate availability for purchase of the next-generation iPod touch device, which boasts an ultra-portable profile and new colors, including space gray, gold, silver, blue, and pink.

Highlights of the new iPod touch device include an Apple-designed A8 processor that delivers 10 times faster graphics performance for hardcore gamers, an M8 motion co-processor for enhanced fitness tracking, a 4-inch Retina display, a brand-new 8MP iSight rear camera for those who want to take astonishing photos, and an enhanced FaceTime HD camera on the front for better selfies.

Being powered by the latest iOS 8.4 mobile operating system, the new iPod touch device gives you instant access to Apple's recently released Apple Music streaming service, allowing users to connect with their favorite artists, listen to playlists created by some of the most talented music experts in the world, as well as the Beats 1 24/7 radio station.

The new iPod touch starts at $199 (US)

The price for the new iPod touch device starts at $199 (US) for the 16GB model, $249 (US) for the 32GB variant, $299 (US) for the 64GB edition, and $399 (US) for the 128GB model. Five new colors have been made available for the entire family of Apple's iPod touch devices as well. The new iPod touch is available for purchase right now from the Apple Online Store.
