14 DAY TRIAL // Apple announced on Tuesday the availability of the IBM Watson Services for its Core ML machine learning framework, helping iOS developers discover new ways to build intelligence into their apps.
Apple has partnered with IBM to offer IBM Watson Services to iOS app developers via Apple's Core ML machine learning framework. With this, Apple aims to help independent developers build smart iOS apps that keep getting smarter for iPhone and iPad devices.
Your apps will be able to leverage the Watson models, both online and offline, to instantly analyze images, train models, as well as to accurately classify visual content. The implementation also lets iOS developers use pre-trained Watson models or customize their own, which can evolve in time.

iOS apps can now integrate with the IBM Cloud
The IBM Watson Services consist of Watson Visual Recognition for a quick and accurate understanding of visual content to allow iOS apps to analyze images for faces, objects, scenes, food, colors, food, etc., as well as IBM Cloud Developer Console for Apple for accessing other services on IBM Cloud.
Thanks to the IBM Cloud Developer Console for Apple, iOS developers can now build iPhone and iPad apps that seamlessly integrate with IBM's cloud computing services for business, a.k.a. IBM Cloud, as well as IBM's other cloud services, simply by tapping into the Watson Services for Core ML.
The IBM Cloud Developer Console for Apple also offers iOS developers a catalog of starter kits that have been designed for common frameworks capable of integrating with IBM Cloud.
