The verse is there so that Muslim terrorists cannot use it

A brand new and quite imposing assault rifle designed and put together by Spike's Tactical in Apopka, Florida, made its official debut this Wednesday and it is causing quite a stir.

The assault rifle sells for $1,395 (€1,254). It fires .223 or 5.56 ammunition with the option to upgrade to 300 AAC Blackout simply by fitting it with another barrel, and it comes with a manufacturer's lifetime warranty.

All the same, it wasn't these specifications that got the general public interested in the rifle. It was the story behind the weapon that grabbed headlines, and understandably so.

The assault rifle is Muslims-proof

If you turn this assault rifle manufactured by Spike's Tactical on one side, you will notice a Bible verse inscribed on it, etched into the magazine well.

The verse, Psalm 144:1, reads as follows: “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”

In case anyone was wondering, Spike's Tactical added this Bible verse to their new assault rifle in an attempt to make the weapon Muslims-proof.

They simply wanted to make sure no Muslim terrorist would ever dare pick up this rifle and use it to shoot innocent people.

“Right now and as it has been for quite some time, one of the biggest threats in the world is and remains Islamic terrorism,” explained Ben Thomas, spokesperson for Spike's Tactical.

“We wanted to make sure we built a weapon that would never be able to be used by Muslim terrorists to kill innocent people or advance their radical agenda,” Ben Thomas went on to say.

The assault rifle has a befitting name

Apart from etching a Bible verse on its side, Spike's Tactical named this assault rifle The Crusader. They also put a Knights Templar cross on it and added other engravings that make using this weapon seem like a religious experience.

“The safety selector markings feature the words, ‘Peace’ for safe, ‘War’ for semi-automatic, and ‘God wills it.’ On the reverse side of the safety selector are the Latin translations of those words, ‘Pax Pacis,’ ‘Bellum,’ and ‘Deus Vult.’”

Not at all surprisingly, the gun manufacturer is now facing serious criticism over this not-all-that-inspired idea to create and market a Muslims-proof assault rifle.
