After spending more than a week digging through social media for any accounts related to ISIS activity and then taking them down, Anonymous is now moving to what it does best: offensive hacking.

The group's hackers have announced a new campaign in which they plan to breach ISIS websites, steal any data they find, and take down the site after they're done. If everything fails, then the hackers intend to make their presence felt by defacing the website with everyone's favorite Rick Astley song.

Anonymous had already bragged about taking down the ISIS main operations forum over the weekend, but now, after being criticized for its misplaced efforts to take down Twitter accounts, the group is moving its activities to its original domain of expertise: DDoSing and hacking.

As soon as the campaign debuted last night, the first signs started popping up in the group's IRC channels, with already one ISIS website database dump having been uploaded to Pastebin.

For starters, Anonymous will use a list of websites compiled by the GhostSec group. This list was put together right after the ISIS Paris attacks in an attempt to shame the companies that host ISIS websites. It holds more than 70 URLs.

There are also other target lists available, along with tutorials for new recruits that want to join the group's fight against ISIS' IT infrastructure.
