Angular Material Design, a frontend UI framework developed by Google's devs, has finally reached version 1.0, after more than one year of development.

Just as the name hints, the framework blends two of the hottest technologies around, the AngularJS JavaScript framework and Google's famous Material Design guidelines for developing modern, mobile-friendly, Web and mobile applications.

The first so-called stable version comes with over 32 ready-made core UI components, a stable API, and support for the soon-to-be-launched AngularJS 1.5 version, which last week released its first RC (release candidate).

Angular Material Design also comes with support for IE 11+, Android 4.2+, iOS 8+, and all the other modern browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, as well as Safari.
