With a little over three more weeks to go until Samsung unveils its latest flagship, the Galaxy Note 7, an image of the smartphone has finally leaked online. The photo reveals the front of the device, showing off its dual-edge display and iris scanner.

The image of the Note 7 has leaked on Techtastic, and it depicts the front panel of the smartphone, showing off the screen, front camera, and the iris scanner. This isn't the first image of the Galaxy Note 7 to surface online. Just recently, Evan Blass leaked actual press renders of the Note 7, and the new photo matches them, making it a certainty that the device will sport a dual-curved edge display.

Aside from this, the image also shows that Samsung will be adding its brand name at the top of the screen, whose size is still unclear at this point. Some hearsay suggests the Note 7 will sport a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch display, with other rumors indicating even 6 inches. Either way, the smartphone is expected to come with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution display and an iris scanner.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 could come with Snapdragon 821 CPU

RAM capacity of the Galaxy Note 7 is also unclear. 6GB of RAM capacity would surely be a selling point for the smartphone, but one benchmark test revealed that the Verizon variant would feature 4GB of RAM. The handset could also pack a Snapdragon 820 or the newly released Snapdragon 821 processor, which would certainly make it attractive on the market.

All recent rumors seem to indicate that the Note 7 will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a new version of TouchWiz UI, GraceUX. The smartphone is also expected to sport a redesigned S Pen stylus, and it is said to cost €849, which is €50 more than the Galaxy S7 Edge. To be fair, this wouldn't be surprising since the Note 7 seems to have more powerful specs.
