An entire history of iPhones put to the test in one video

Every new iPhone model brought more or less significant hardware upgrades and this kind of makes sense given the fact that the newer the device, the faster it should get.

But when it comes to the entire iPhone lineup, it’s always interesting to see all models put to test side by side, and this is exactly what YouTuber EverythingApplePro has made in their latest video.

Basically, this clip shows absolutely all iPhone models released so far compared in order to determine which one is faster (although in most of the cases, the most recent model is also the fastest too).

iPhone SE boots the fastest

And it turns out that the same thing goes for iPhones too, as the SE proved to be the fastest when it comes to booting speed. The 4-inch model managed to surpass the Apple iPhone 6s Plus, which in its turn proved to start faster than the standard 6s. Older models follow next, such as the iPhone 6, 6s Plus, 5s and the rest of the pack.

Benchmarks performed with GeekBench also revealed that the iPhone SE is the most powerful model to date, having received a score of 2550 points for the single-core test and 4445 points for the multi-core one. Although this might be surprising, the SE was faster than the 6s and the 6s plus, despite the fact that they come with the same hardware – the A9 and M9 processors and 2GB of RAM are installed on both the SE and the 6s lineup.

In the decibel test, the iPhone SE took the leading spot, while the old iPhone 4s was the last in the rankings. If you’re using the iPhone to watch TV or YouTube clips, this might be a little surprising because you most likely picked a bigger screen, but both the 6s and the 6s Plus are just behind the 4-inch model.

In this test, the iPhone SE indeed proves to be one of the fastest and most advanced iPhones to date, so if you don’t mind the 4-inch screen, it might really be worth the money. To learn more about the device, you can read our iPhone SE review here.
