We expect many of Microsoft's Windows Phone partners to announce new smartphones soon after the Redmond-based company launches the new Windows 10 Mobile operating system.

Chinese company Alcatel is one of the many handset makers that is likely to launch its first smartphone powered by Windows 10 Mobile.

According to @evleaks, an unannounced Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL smartphone will arrive on the market sometime in December.

While there's no mention of where exactly this Windows 10 Mobile handset will be available for purchase, we suspect Alcatel will launch it in the United States first.

Since this is a mid-range smartphone, we expect Alcatel to price it low to make it more appealing to customers who want to try out the new Windows 10 Mobile operating system.

Moving on to specs, it appears that the OneTouch Fierce XL will sport a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

VoLTE and HD Voice are supported too

When it comes to hardware, Alcatel's mid-range smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210, which is usually included in affordable smartphones.

On the back, the OneTouch Fierce XL packs an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is said to come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Last but not least, Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL offers LTE support, as well as HD Voice and VoLTE (Voice over LTE), and it's powered by a decent 2,500 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

If Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL will be launched in the United States, it might be offered by most major carriers across the country.
