Boost Mobile customers will be pleased to know that the US-based carrier has just announced that two new affordable Android smartphones have been added to its portfolio: Alcatel OneTouch Conquest and Elevate.

According to the carrier, customers will be able to purchase the Alcatel OneTouch Conquest beginning today via online store for only $130 (plus tax). The OneTouch Elevate will be available from next month for just $100 (plus tax).

The Alcatel OneTouch Conquest is an IP67-certified smartphone, which means that it's waterproof, as well as dustproof. It also comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

When it comes to hardware, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Both come with Android 5.1 Lollipop and 4G LTE support

The OneTouch Conquest sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features Dragontrail glass coating for extra protection.

On the back, it packs a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while on the front, there's a secondary 2-megapixel selfie camera. Other highlights of the smartphone include 4G LTE support and a 2,500 mAh battery.

The cheaper Alcatel OneTouch Elevate comes with a smaller 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixel resolution.

It runs the same Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but it packs a slightly lower 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

Obviously, it sports a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Also, it comes with the same 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a 2-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

This one offers 4G LTE support as well, but it's powered by a slightly smaller 2,000 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the carrier.
