Rumor has it that it’s nearly done and is truly amazing

Adele is one of the best-selling and critically acclaimed singers of our times but her discography so far only includes 2 studio albums: “19,” released in 2008, and “21,” which came out in 2011. Since the latter, the British songbird has been taking some time off to start a family and, presumably, to lay down some tracks.

Rumors picked up in the spring of 2014 that her third album would be called “25,” in keeping with her naming tradition, and that it would come out later that year. The reports were later shut down by Adele’s record label, XL Recordings.

Billboard is now reporting that the same XL Recordings label is “planning on a November release” of the new Adele album. The strange thing is that she hasn’t started promoting it yet, as is customary with most pop stars.

Then again, much like Beyonce, Adele has the star-power to drop an album in the dead of night with exactly zero promotion and still have it shoot up the charts and break records.

“Danger Mouse has been working on the album, and Max Martin has contributed a single. Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. also has written a (reportedly, standout) track, and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder is back in the mix after producing and co-writing ‘Rumor Has It’ on 21,” Billboard reports.

Ed Sheeran said a couple of months ago that he hadn’t been privy to a listening session of the album but all those who did listen to it had been telling him it was truly something else.

If that’s not enough to get fans excited, I don’t know what is.
