Lumia 950, 950 XL, 550, and even a 750 are coming

Both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are expected to see daylight next month during a Microsoft hardware event in New York, but it appears that the software giant is actually working on several other devices.

Data provided by AdDuplex confirms both the 950 and the 950 XL, but according to their stats, Microsoft is also testing the RM-1127/28/29 (all are variations of the same model), which comes with a 4.7-inch 720p screen. This device could hit the market as Lumia 550 and recent reports on this confirm that such a model is indeed in the works.

Then, there's the Lumia RM-1150/52/54/56 (again variations of the same model), which has a 5-inch 729p screen.

AdDuplex speculates:

“With a screen like this, it is unlikely that this is a rumored Lumia 850, more like a 750. This one is also showing up in quite a few places. We've seen it in Finland, UK, US, China, and India. Having said that, it is not as widespread as the ones above, so it's unclear if this one is coming out on the same date.”

All will debut with Windows 10 Mobile

Right now, it's not very clear if all devices are supposed to debut on October 6 during Microsoft's hardware event, but we do know that all of them will launch with Windows 10 Mobile.

This means that Microsoft is indeed supposed to reach development of the new mobile OS in the next couple of months, which confirms previous reports that Windows 10 Mobile is projected to go live in late October or early November.

In the meantime, the new Lumia flagships will debut with Windows 10 Mobile TH1, but it's believed that until all Windows Phone devices get access to the upgrade, Microsoft should complete development of a major update that would be labeled as TH2.

There are plenty of vague details right now, so take everything with a pinch of salt until we hear something official from Microsoft itself.
