Acer unveiled the Liquid Zest Plus smartphone last month, but it seems that the company has taken its time when it comes to releasing it to the market. The Liquid Zest Plus comes with a very impressive battery of 5,000mAh, which put many other smartphones to shame.

Recently, Acer announced that the Liquid Zest Plus will be available starting with July for the price of $199 (€179) in North America, according to FoneArena.

The smartphone should also be available in EMEA markets in July with a price starting at $222 (€199). Acer is expected to showcase the phone at Computex Taipei 2016 from May 31 to June 4.

When it was first introduced last month, Acer’s Liquid Zest Plus made quite the impression as it came with a 5,000 mAh battery and Quick Charge, which promises to keep the smartphone’s lights on for up to 3 days with moderate use.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus has a 5.5-inch HD (1920x1080) IPS display. It comes with a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3 GHZ and Mali-T720 graphics processing unit.

There's a 13MP camera on the back, with laser auto focus, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and contrast detection. Front camera capacity is 5MP with 85 degrees wide-angle lens.

The smartphone also comes with USB OTG (On-The-Go), which lets you charge other devices with the smartphone. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack and DTS HD Sound included.

The smartphone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box and an LTE Cat.4 modem. Acer Liquid Zest Plus comes with quite satisfactory specs for a mid-range smartphone and the price certainly makes it even more appealing.

Upon its unveiling, the price of the phone was rumored to reach $250 (€224). One reason why Acer decided to lower the price regards the gap of several months between its unveiling and availability in stores.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus will be available in July in the U.S., but the company didn’t mention when the smartphone will be available on other markets.
