The hacking crew that first hit CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Deputy Director Mark Giuliano, and then US National Intelligence Director James Clapper, is back in business and has now breached the Xfinity account of John Holdren, President Barack Obama’s Senior Advisor on science and technology.

According to Motherboard, whose reporter seems to have established a connection with the hackers, one of the group's members, named Fearz, sent a spear phishing email to Mr. Holdren's wife, posing as Holdren. The hacker asked her to "remind him" the password for the family's Xfinity account, and she quickly complied.

With the password at his disposal, the hacker accessed their Xfinity account, and using the services dashboard, he redirected all calls coming to the Holdren family home to the telephone number of the Free Palestine Movement, just as they did to James Clapper last week.

CWA, made up of three hackers, Cracka, Fearz, and Cubed, has always stated that all their hacks are meant to bring attention to Palestine's situation and Israel's abuses.

The group also hacked other US officials

Besides the aforementioned officials, Cubed bragged to Motherboard that the group also hacked other low-ranking US officials such as former intelligence execute Vonna Weir Heaton, White House Communications Director Jen Psaki, White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken, White House Deputy National Security Advisor Avril Haines, and FBI’s Executive Assistant Director for Science and Technology Amy Hess.

All the details of these officials were pillaged from a government database to which the group managed to get access last year.

In fact, in November 2015, the group released the details of 2,400 government employees from the same database. Later on, the group also proved their skills by hacking into JABS (Joint Automated Booking System), an application used to record and manage arrested US citizens.

CWA has also mentioned that they've officially disbanded, but this won't make the FBI, CIA, and other law enforcement agencies give up on finding and arresting them.
