From Monday to Friday

On Monday, 343 Industries and Microsoft delivered an official TV spot for Halo 5: Guardians, which focuses on the supposed demise of Master Chief, and a big bundle that includes an Xbox One and the coming Rise of the Tomb Raider was officially revealed.

On Tuesday, Sony announced that it would deploy the 3.0 firmware for the PlayStation 4 in 24 hours, with a range of major changes for the console, while Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare received what might be its final title update on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4.

On Wednesday, 343 Industries explained that gamers would be unable to choose datacenters for the multiplayer in Halo 5: Guardians and Sony explained that it might introduce more classic titles for the PlayStation 4.

Moving along, on Thursday, more details were offered about the REQ system for Halo 5: Guardians, with the Oathsword shown for the first time, while Square Enix announced that it was ending the Augment Your Pre-order program for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

On Friday, Bungie announced that Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris would be coming back to Destiny on October 13, and 343 Industries talked about post-launch support for Halo 5: Guardians.

Finally, on Saturday, FIFA 16 received a new title update, which is at the moment offered only on the PC.
