14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Zynga has announced that it is launching a new social multiplayer platform, called Zynga With Friends, and that its next major title will be called simply The Ville.
The new Zynga platform will offer players a new unified lobby for all their games and their friends, accessible from any device via one login.
A new live social stream will allow players to discover who cooperates with them and check lifetime records and scores quickly.
50 Cubes, Majesco, Portalarium, Konami, Rebellion and Playdemic will also be delivering their own social game experience on the Zynga With Friends platform.
The Ville is the new big game from the company and, on the surface, it looks very close to the experience offered by The Sims Social from Electronic Arts.
Gamers will be able to customize avatars, create houses, buy accessories, collaborate with other players, earn in-game currency, choose careers and hold parties for friends.
Other announced titles include: ChefVille, Ruby Blast and Zynga Slots.
