The tablet ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform onboard

Zync is one of the many Indian companies that are supplying Android fans with lots of products. The handset maker has an extensive portfolio of affordable smartphones and tablets, some of which being among the most popular devices in India.

Today, Zync announced the upcoming availability of its powerful Quad 8.0 tablet. As the name suggests, the slate is equipped with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, which is complemented by a Mali-400 MP4 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

In addition, Zync Quad 8.0 comes packed with 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) multi-touch display is accompanied by a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, along with a secondary 5-megapixel rear photo snapper.

Another strong point of the Quad 8.0 is the fact that it ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

According to fonearena, Zync’s 8-inch tablet will soon be available in India via leading retailers for only Rs 12,990 ($235/€180).
