The Social Network was quite a success, with the critics and at the box office. Successful movie beg for a sequel. But you can't really make a sequel to "the Facebook movie" since all of the story's been told. Or can you?
What if the sequel was a disaster movie, focusing less on Mark Zuckerberg and more on the average Facebook user. What if you'd wake up one day and there would be no more Facebook?
How would people cope, would they poke you in the middle of the night while you sleep, would they write on your actual walls, would they shove photos of their wonderfully interesting infants in your face all the time for you to 'like'?
Well, judging by the
trailer for The Social Network 2, which is set around the idea that Zuckerberg deleted Facebook and then killed himself (for ever), the answer to all of those questions is "yes and then some." Before you ask, yes it's a parody.
