Zowie doesn't seem to be in too much rush to actually ship the AM Gaming Mouse, even though it did make its official introduction.

The new peripheral is not as embellished and covered in buttons as other mice, but it still performs everything it should.

After all, it was made in collaboration with Counter-Strike player Abdisamad 'SpawN' Mohamed.

It has a 2-meter cable, an optical sensor with custom lenses (2,300 dpi), a polling rate of 1,000 Hz, five buttons and a scroll wheel with special optical encoder.

It is described in detail on this page but, unfortunately, has not been given a price yet, which means that gamers will have to wait until shipments start next month (December, 2011) to get a clear idea of how viable a purchase is for them.

UPDATE: Fixed instance where the cable was mentioned twice.
