Following the release of NVIDIA's latest addition to its GeForce 200-series of graphics processing units, Zotac, one of NVIDIA's leading board partners, has recently announced the introduction of its latest AMP! Edition graphics card. The new graphics accelerator has been designed on the recently launched GTX 275 GPU and, as with all other AMP! cards, it comes with a factory-overclocked GPU, meant to provide end-users with a higher level of performance, compared to other reference models. The card is
featured with the same dual-slot cooling solution that you will get for other GTX 275 products, but will deliver a higher performance thanks to Zotact's overclocking features.

“We were looking to deliver the absolute best performance for the money with our new ZOTAC GeForce GTX 275 series. With 240 stream processors, 896MB of GDDR3 memory and a 448-bit memory interface, the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 275 is the best bang-for-the-buck graphics card a demanding gamer can purchase,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

Compared to the standard model, the latest Zotac GeForce GTX 275 AMP! is featured with a factory-overclocked GPU that runs at a core speed of 702MHz. The card's 240 Stream processors have been set at a frequency of 1512MHz, while the 896MB of 448-bit GDDR3 memory have been overclocked to 2520MHz. Aside from that, you will get all the features that are enabled on almost all of NVIDIA's latest GeForce cards, including support for multi-GPU configurations through SLI technology.

The card also supports DirectX 10 and OpenGL 3.0 API, PhysX and CUDA-based applications as well as NVIDIA's PureVideo HD technology. In addition, Zotac will provide its customers with the Firestorm application, which allows users to maximize the performance of their ZOTAC GeForce 8, 9 and other GTX graphics cards. The new release should be available at about US$269.
