The company was quite enthusiastic in its press release

So far, we've only seen Gigabyte with a factory-overclocked GeForce GTX 780 graphics card, and even there the memory was left alone, with just the GPU working faster than NVIDIA intended.

Given that the GTX 780 is already more or less overpowered, though not to the same extent as the Titan, we can't fault NVIDIA's OEMs for not bothering overmuch with tweaking it.

Zotac is one of the companies that have one of the adapters up for sale, or will have it soon enough.

The model doesn't even have a sticker on. While the box is undoubtedly Zotac's, the card stays faithful to NVIDIA's vision, cooler shroud included.

"PC gaming is evolving into an easily-accessible platform that can be enjoyed by gamers of all technical skill levels. The inclusion of technology such as NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 and Geforce Experience software makes it easy for everyone to get the best performance possible from their games and ZOTAC GeForce graphics cards," said Carsten Berger, senior director, ZOTAC International.

"All of the latest technologies and features can be found in our ZOTAC GeForce GTX 780, which is perfect for all gamers whether they want to play on their PC or stream it to an NVIDIA SHIELD gaming-portable."

The 28nm GPU works at 863 MHz, but can jump to 900 MHz if things get particularly rough.

Most of the time it won't be necessary, but we imagine that multi-monitor setups and games running texture-enhancing mods will make good use of the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.

Meanwhile, the 3 GB of GDDR5 VRAM, connected to the GPU via 384-bit interface, run at 6 GHz.

As for connectivity, the card has dual-DVI ports, an HDMI connector, and a DisplayPort output.

Like the other GTX 780 from NVIDIA and its other partners, the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 780 has a price of $649 / €539 / £549.

"ZOTAC continues to refine the PC gaming experience. The new generation GeForce GTX 780 is our latest evolutionary upgrade that packs the massively powerful next-generation NVIDIA Kepler GPU into a dual-slot card that decimates the competition," said Berger. "Hardware enthusiasts and extreme PC gamers seeking one of the best graphics cards available will be very satisfied with the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 780."
