With the GTS 450 finally out in the open, NVIDIA's partners are already bringing out their own cards, and Zotac has prepared not one, but two versions, both with differing degrees of factory overclocking, though the AMP! edition is, obviously, the more powerful.

The GeForce GTS is NVIDIA's mainstream Fermi card, meant to bring DirectX 11 graphics to the masses, and should replace the GTS 250.

As one would expect, the Santa Clara, California-based company's partners have already begun to bring out their respective custom models, and Zotac is ready with two cards instead of just one.

Both newcomers have had their clock speeds tweaked, their GPUs operating at over 800 MHz, but the AMP! edition is the superior one in terms of performance.

The 'regular' Zotac GTS 450 has the GF106 GPU working at 810 MHz, while the 192 CUDA cores and 1GB of GDDR5 are set at speeds of 1,620 MHz and 3,608 MHz, respectively.

The AMP! model, on the other hand, goes a fair bit higher than those numbers, pushing the clock speeds all the way up to 875 MHz, 1,750 MHz and 4,000 MHz for the GPU/shaders/VRAM, respectively.

"Mainstream gamers deserve the best performance and features available,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

“With the new ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series, we're able to deliver excellent performance, phenomenal visuals in DirectX 11 and 10 titles, and outstanding features at a very attractive price," Berger added.

"ZOTAC is always pushing the performance envelope and while the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 GPU delivers superb stock performance, we were able to add a lot more performance without sacrificing stability our longterm reliability with the ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 and GeForce GTS 450 AMP! Edition," Mr. Berger went on to saying.

The Less overclocked Zotac GTS 450 sells for 128 Euro, whereas the AMP! is priced at 153 Euro.
