Lately, we have seen a wide number of Sandy Bridge motherboards getting pixellized by various websites, but this is the first time we lay our eyes on a mini-ITX board, the Zotac H67ITX U3 WiFi looking like a nice option for those of you interested in building a LAN party gaming PC.

Bearing an eerie resemblance with the LGA 1156 H55-ITX WiFi, this board is build on top of Intel's H67 chipset that is slated to make its debut on January 5, during CES.

Compared to the P67, Intel's H67 chipset is designed in order to enable consumers to use the on-chip Intel HD integrated graphics that made its way into the upcoming Sandy Bridge processors.

As a result, the board features a wide array of display connections, including DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

All these are placed on the board's back panel, Zotac also choosing to equip the H67ITX U3 WiFi with a PS/2 port, four USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, an eSATA connector, a Gigabit Ethernet port as well as with 5.1 channel sound output.

However, the most distinctive feature of the H67ITX U3 WiFi is its AzureWave AW-NE766 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter that is installed into a Mini-PCIe slot, enabling users to get WiFi connectivity without having to rely on an external USB dongle.

Speaking of PCI Express, Zotac also decided to place a full length PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard, allowing for high-performance graphics cards to be installed.

This is most certainly a feature that gamers will love especially if they plan to build a compact LAN party computer.

The rest of the motherboard is pretty much standard, considering its minute size, Zotac allowing for two DDR3 memory modules to be installed (for a maximum of 16GB of memory) together with up to six SATA storage devices, two of the available slots supporting SATA 6Gbps drives.

The board's power delivery circuit is built using a 4+1+1 phase power design, each phase being built with Japanese solid-state capacitors.

Sadly, no information regarding pricing is available at this time, but the board is expected to arrive January 5 together with the Sandy Bridge CPUs. (via Expreview)
