Zorin OS Educational 6.4 Is for Windows XP Defectors

An Ubuntu-based operating system aimed at Windows users that are switching over to Linux, Zorin OS Educational, has now reached version 6.4.

The Zorin OS 6.4 Educational series is based on a new desktop environment called “Zorin Desktop” and comes with Zorin Look Changer, an application that allows users to change between Windows 7, XP, and GNOME 2 graphical interfaces.

Highlights of Zorin OS 6.4 Educational:

• Linux kernel has been updated;
• The distribution is based on Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin);
• A lot of the included applications have been updated.

The users of any previous versions of the distribution just have to update the operating system in order to get the latest features.
