The Zoo keeping business is flourishing. After the success of Zoo Tycoon, the game comes back to live in shiny brand new 3D clothes and more options for you to enjoy your grand Theme Park. Stroll through your zoo in first-person, just like a guest, or get your hands dirty caring for your animals in Zookeeper mode. Take photos and share them with your friends. Create impressive, realistic exhibits with easy-to-use building tools. Zoo Tycoon 2 is easy to play and has very intuitive controls. This is probably why no cheats came up. Fortunately, the rushed players can enjoy the help of a few hints while engaged in any of the game's expansions or the original - Zoo Tycoon 2, Endangered Species, African Adventure, Dino Danger Pack, Marine Mania. Of course you could just get the Zookeeper Collection that includes all of them.

Hint - Zookeeper With Binoculars
To get the binoculars, you must first make a Staff Center and wait for a zookeeper to climb up to the top. They will have a pair of binoculars. Grab the zookeeper and put him/her down on the ground. And there you have it - your zookeeper walks around with a pair of binoculars.


Hint - Meerkats
Can't get those meerkats in one place? I tell you what. You keep more than five meerkats in an exhibit and never use a chain link fence or jungle wall and I assure you they won't escape and they'll keep entertaining your guests.

Hint - Free Trees and Décor
If you want to keep your spending on the landscaping as low as possible, you should make use of everything that already exists in the park. Whether you're playing campaign, challenge or freeform, most zoos have already existing trees (and occasionally things like flower beds, benches etc.) at the start. All you have to do is left click the item you want and move it to where you want it. It saves money when you are on a tight budget and is really easy. Besides, you know where you want to place all that better than any developer team - you're the manager after all.

Hint - Recycle Bins
Ever wondered why your park is such a mess? I'll let you in on a little secret. Maintenance workers do not pick up recycle bins trash. You must do this yourself. How's this for a tough job?

Hint - Secrets
You've built such a huge zoo and it seems like it takes forever to get to that dolphin exhibit in Zoo Guest Mode or Photo Safari Mode. But wait! Maybe there's a quicker way to do that. And there is! Since left-clicking the mouse makes you walk in Zoo Guest and Photo Safari Mode, and so does W or Up, you can walk twice as fast (as in run) by holding two of these. Run like the wind!
