Dead Sky, a zombie survival game developed and published by Shorebound Studios, has been released on Steam for Linux.

Dead Sky is a top-down shooter in which the player controls the main character with the WASD keys and mouse.

“The game takes place amidst the chaos of a mysterious outbreak where you will fight tooth-and-nail through hordes of undead creatures in order to escape the epidemic and survive. At its core,” reads the official synopsis.

There was no official announcement, but it's good to see another game arriving on Linux. The system requirements are also quite reasonable: a Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz processor, 2 GB RAM, nVidia Geforce 5600 or equivalent (must support Pixel Shader 2.0), and 2 GB of available space.

More details about Dead Sky can be found on the Steam website.
