A new mobile game is now available for purchase for Tegra-based Android devices, namely Zombie Driver THD, which arrives with a great deal of optimizations for the powerful mobile processor.

The new title should provide the owners of Tegra 3 quad-core smartphones with a great experience at only $6.99, as it can take full advantage of the GPU performance of the chipset.

Furthermore, although this is a mobile flavor of the game, it does arrive on devices with full support for gamepads and keyboards, so users will be able to play it the way they best consider it fit.

“Insane mix of cars, speed, explosions, blood and zombies! Fight through an epic narrative campaign or test yourself in the Slaughter and Blood Race modes,” the game’s description reads.

“Engage huge bosses, save survivors, drive crazy vehicles such as a bulldozer, fire truck or even a tank and smash everything in your way.”

The game will provide users with the possibility to take part in the Blood Race tournament, so that they could chase other cars and take them down on brutal racing tracks.

“Jump into the Slaughter mode and survive as long as possible on specially crafted arenas,” the game’s description continues.

The mobile flavor of the game has been specifically designed for NVIDIA Tegra-powered devices, while being capable of delivering a full-featured gameplay experience with spectacular graphics and a great deal of zombies to take down.

“Thanks to the multi-core Tegra architecture, it is possible to simulate destruction and vehicle physics at great fidelity with an even higher number of destructible objects,” the team of developers notes.

The game will engage users in 31 diverse missions featuring boss fights, night missions and more, 7 twisted slaughter arenas, 13 insane zombie killing machines, 9 different upgrades for cars, and the like.

“Thanks to Tegra 3's fantastic GPU performance we were able to use the same quality textures in Zombie Driver THD as on the PC. The outstanding quad-core CPU performance makes it possible to support Tegra game development in parallel to other high-end platforms,” Pawel Lekki, chief operating officer, EXOR Studios says.

The Android version of Zombie Driver THD can be found in the Google Play store today.
