Despite the early success of Zombi U, the undead-powered mix between shooter and strategy for the Wii U, Ubisoft currently has no plans to expand the game via downloadable content, but might still do that in the future.

Bogdan Bridinel, the multiplayer game director working on the game at Ubisoft, tells the Official Nintendo Magazine that, “A few things that we tried during production ended up on the cutting room floor, but this was because they didn’t work out as well as we had hoped, not because the schedule forced us to.

The popularity of Zombi U in the coming months will determine how the team will handle the long-term future of the game.

The Ubisoft-made title takes full advantage of the newly introduced features of the Wii U, like the GamePad and its included touch screen.
