The defense team in the George Zimmerman trial have been prevented from using photos found on the cellphone of his victim, Trayvon Martin.

As I wrote before, Zimmerman is facing murder charges in the fatal shooting of the teenager. As the trial begins on June 10, key pieces of evidence meant to shape the Jury's image of Martin will be excluded.

According to ABC News, the photos on his phone include a snapshot of a gun and selfies of himself using marijuana. While a judge has banned the photos, two of them are posted above this article.

"We have a lot of evidence that marijuana use had something to do with the event. [...] It could have affected his behavior," attorney Mark O'Mara describes.
