14 DAY TRIAL // Ziggurat is a relatively new game developed by Milkstone Studios that received more than decent reviews from players and media alike. In fact, developers have just celebrated 15,000 community members on Steam, which is quite a high number for a small studio.
Anyway, Ziggurat is a dungeon-crawling FPS that only plays in single player. As developers point, the game focuses on “fast-paced first person shooting, with an old-school vibe, and updated handling and game mechanics.”
Although it's considered a roguelite game, in Ziggurat the only thing that will matter is your combat prowess. The rest of the features added by developers, like leveling and randomly generated content, is only there to give players a sense of variation and make each game different.
In order to make it very simple to play, developers did not add the inventory, so you won't have to manage anything like comparing two almost equal item drops. You just need to select your weapon of choice, and mana / health are usually the bargaining chip.

The folks over at Milkstone Studios seem to release patches pretty often, so you shouldn't worry about any bug not being patched fast.
