Zinedine Zidane's head butting of Materazzi is an incident that has evolved to the such proportion that now it even serves as a bait for the spreading of malware. The malicious code is posted on a website in the US that mirrors the FIFA World Cup 2006 Soccer website. The leading story is that of the World Cup last act incident, ant the article promises to disclose "What did Materazzi say to Zidane?".

Websense Security Labs have warned of the possibility that visitors will be infected by a Trojan Horse even without interaction. "Upon visiting any of the pages on the site, end-users are potentially infected with a Trojan Horse downloader. This Trojan Horse downloads additional payload code from the site. The site is using the underground "Web Attacker" toolkit. The Web Attacker toolkit is sold on a Russian website and costs anywhere from $20 - $300. This toolkit allows users to install code that exploits users based on their browser types. The installed code includes one of five different variants, including exploits for old and new vulnerabilities," revealed Websense.

Websense also warned that the site was still fully functional at the time of the disclosure, last week.
