This is practically the only change for the new version of this OS

ZevenOS-Neptune, a Linux operating system with software optimized for slower computers and with elements of BeOS, has just reached version 5.0 Beta 1.

ZevenOS-Neptune 5.0 Beta has once again entered the development cycle and now it features the deskbar mode in the xfce4-panel.

According to the developer, the new implementation of the deskbar mode still presents some problems, such as not being able to setup the panel to move under windows.

“So I decided for the 5.0 release of ZevenOS to simply ship the xfce4-panel. Currently I am not sure if I would stop development of the deskbar completely or if we implement a tasklist on our own,” stated the developer of the operating system.

More details about this new release can be found in the official announcement. Download ZevenOS 5.0 Beta right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
