Zenwalk Live 4.4.1 Released

A Slackware based Live distribution!

The Zenwalk Live 4.4.1 version from Zenwalk has been released. According to the Zenwalk Live Team, this version is based on the latest version of Zenwalk GNU/Linux 4.4.1: "We are pleased to announce the release of Zenwalk Live 4.4.1 This version is based on the latest version of Zenwalk GNU/Linux 4.4.1 and compliments the security, speed and stability you've come to expect from Zenwalk", states the Zenwalk Live Team.

Although Zenwalk Live includes the Gparted graphical hard disk partitioning software and it can be set up through a Zenwalk Standard

installation, it has many new features such as:

- a utility in ZenPanel enabling the user to recover the Lilo bootloader on their computers
- a complete diversified development suite for coding and software development
- a series of games, such as Mega Mario, Ceferino Haza�a, Frozen Bubble 2, Lbreakout 2 & Wormux.

New cheatcodes have also been added, such as the cheatcodes that allow you to create a localized version of Zenwalk Live that boots directly into the desktop with the user's language and keyboard layout.

The Zenwalk Live announced on this occasion the retiring of the "Zenwalk" previous name of this project, on the grounds that "the name "Zenwalk Live" describes more accurately the project and pays tribute to its parent project Zenwalk GNU/Linux.". The team promises to continue the development of this new project and to expand it according to new innovative ideas.

About Zenwalk:

Zenwalk is a GNU/Linux operating system available in 2 versions:

1. Zenwalk, which is a complete system containing browsing, mail, chat, scanning, writing and printing documents or editing pictures media application and also offers the support for programming in C, Perl, Python or Ruby coming with a full set of development libraries and interpreters.
2.Zenwalk Core which is a Zenwalk system without X applications, intended to be used as a starting point to build a custom desktop system or a server system, and for users with limited space on their disk.
