The Zentyal development team, through José Antonio Calvo, announced a few days ago that the first Release Candidate version of the upcoming Zentyal 3.2 small business server Linux operating system is now available for download and testing.

Being based on the recently released Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system, Zentyal 3.2 RC1 introduces a unified style and usability across the entire GUI (Graphical User Interface).

Moreover, Zentyal 3.2 Release Candidate 1 moves the following modules to the contrib repositories, in order to keep the distribution light and easy-to-install: PPTP, Virtualization, Thin clients, and VoIP.

The final release of Zentyal 3.2 is expected at the end of next week, on September 19, 2013. For more details, please check the official release announcement.

Download Zentyal 3.2 RC1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
