Pleased with the overall response that Zeno Clash received, game publisher Atlus decided to start a collaboration with ACE Team co-founder Carlos Bordeu. The latter showed interest in bringing the game to the Xbox 360 since earlier this year, as long as he would find a publisher to help out. And he did. Thus, according to an Atlus announcement, the two will bring Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition on Xbox Live Arcade.

With a release time stamp of 2010 the Xbox 360 version will bring in several modifications from the original version. The first-person brawler will feature new online and splitscreen co-op modes as well as a few overall gameplay changes. These ideas, meant to improve the 360 version from the original one, are mainly imported from the pieces of advice the game community offered as possible tweaks to the PC game. A new mode that's supposed to be available exclusively to the Xbox 360 Ultimate Editions is supposed to also be available but is at this time just a rumor.

The original game was published by Steam at $14.99 so prices should be somewhere close. The first-person shooter/fighter focuses on the melee combat more and is part of a relatively scarce genre. The indie developer tackled a tricky matter with this title, but it seams to have worked out pretty well for them. The game was well received by critics, but a lot better by fans. A unique feature on behalf of the game publisher was their approach to combat piracy, as they didn't employ some fancy detection application or anything technically-wise. Instead, Carlos Bordeu acceded most torrent sites that made the cracked version available and said that ACE Team did not intend to stop the piracy of Zeno Clash, but he implored gamers to purchase the gameif they liked it.

The action takes place in the world of Zenozoik and lets players travel through the exotic and extreme environments of the planet. The protagonist Ghat finds himself awakening in the town of Halstedom after destroying Father-Mother, the creature responsible for the existence of his race. Now, alongside Deadra, his companion, he must make his escape and evade the pursuing forces of his family. In addition to the single player story, the game also has a Challenge mode in which players can display their achievements via Steam Friends.
