Zeno Clash was a very good videogame, considering that the project was created on a shoestring budget and also tried to simulate brawling, which is hard to do. The game was released for the PC earlier this year and enough people liked it for the developers to be thinking about bringing it to other gaming platforms.

Carlos Bordeu, who is one of the co founders of ACE Team, the creators of Zeno Clash, has told Eurogamer that the game is on its way to being certified by Microsoft as ready to be released on the Xbox Live Arcade service.

He said that “We've been having conversations about a possible XBLA version of the game and we're currently talking with a publisher, but we still haven't closed that yet. But it's something we'd really like to do. Usually when you port there is a lot of interest in adding new features and content so the console port is interesting and people who have the PC version will say, 'Oh cool, the console version has these features added'.”

ACE Team is stating that the game will be packing some new content when it arrives on the XBLA and the reason why only the Xbox 360 is being considered is the fact that the Source engine, which powers Zeno Clash, has already been optimized for the Microsoft home gaming console. This means that the PlayStation 3 will not be getting a version of Zeno Clash.

ACE Team is also saying that it plans to add some new content for the PC version of the game and that its sequel is also being discussed, to be bigger and better than the initial title and probably released in 2010. If the team manages to keep the solid hand to hand fighting mechanics while expanding the beautiful and weird universe that it has put together, then it might have another hit on its hands.
