There are many CPUs on the consumer market, some stronger and more prone to heating up than others, so Zalman sent forth the Zero Infinity series of coolers.

Zalman's Zero Infinity coolers aren't precisely the newest of their kind.

Still, they became the subject of their maker's latest press release by virtue of extending their reach overseas.

The coolers are now up for order in Europe, through Caseking.de.

These are not just any coolers either, but a set which put stock in both performance and aesthetics.

Granted, all coolers, especially high-end ones, have a certain allure because of the intricate geometry involved in the making of their heatsinks.

The Zalman Zero Infinity are special because they also do their best to bring some color to users' systems.

The Free Flow+ is the best of the line, with three 140mm fans colored black and violet.

Its two cooling towers have 46 fins, are symmetrical and hold one fan each, the third being placed between them.

The fins are nickel-plated, spaced 2mm apart and covered with dimples for extra dissipation area.

As for actually getting the heat from the CPU to the fin towers, Zalman gave the Free Flow+ five U-shaped heat pipes.

They have a diameter of 8mm and are nickel-plated as well, in addition to making direct contact with the CPU (direct touch technology).

Finally, in order to ensure compatibility with nearly all CPU sockets, the company included a mounting kit with the cooler.

Thus, it supports not just Intel LGA 771, 775, 1155, 1156 and 1366 CPUs, but also AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ and FMI chips from Advanced Micro Devices.

Following the Free Flow+ are the Phantom Knight (a bit more compact, all black with red/green/orange/violet covers), Shiva (mid-range, black fins+violet cover plate or silver fins with golden cover) and Vesta (entry-level, 6mm heat pipes, one fan).

The CPU coolers from Zero Infinity will be available from the beginning of February and will start at 27.90 Euro ($35.65).
