Zalman Intros New and Slim Notebook Cooler

This is the middle of summer, so it might be hard to keep laptops nice and cool, or at least at a manageable temperature, so Zalman figured it would offer a solution.

The Ultra-Slim ZM-NC2000NT is a notebook cooling stand good for notebooks in display size of up to 17 inches.

It will be a good assistant to those who don't have air conditioning or like to go outside and play/work on their PCs.

Two lateral-flow fans are used, of 60 mm in diameter each. Their rotary speed ranges from 1,100 to 1,700 RPM (rotations per minute). On that note, the noise output is of 17 to 23.5 dBA (rheostat fan speed control).

That said, energy is provided through an USB port and, as a bonus, three extra connectors are available on the stand, turning it into an USB 2.0 hub of sorts.

Zalman's 1kg (2.20 pounds) creation, colored black or silver, measures 303 mm x 418 mm x 38 mm (11.92 x 16.45 x 1.49 inches) and is made of aluminum and ABS plastic. No price is known at this time.
