If the two trailers for the upcoming Superman, Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel,” had that certain “not enough” feeling, get ready for December 14 because that’s when a brand new, “crazy” preview for the film drops.

Confirmation of this comes from the man himself, director Snyder: a new trailer for “Man of Steel” will premiere in theaters ahead of yet another highly anticipated film, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.”

“I can’t wait for ‘The Hobbit,’ so it will be fun to see our crazy ‘Man of Steel’ trailer and then enjoy ‘The Hobbit’ because that’s going to be great,” Snyder said in a recent interview with MTV News.

“It just feels like a fun Christmas thing to do, drag the whole family out for that action,” he added.

“Man of Steel” won’t be out in theaters until next year but, when it opens, Snyder promises, fans will be surprised to see how their all-time favorite hero has evolved.

Now played by Henry Cavill, this Superman is more serious and somewhat darker, but he’ll still be the same hero of always.

“Man of Steel” also stars Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
