Zac Efron Seen Holding Hands, Flirting with Mystery Man

Rumors about Zac Efron’s true orientation have been around for years, even circulating online when he was still dating longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. They’ve just kicked into high gear again, with a new report suggesting he’s gay.

In December, Zac attended the same party that Vanessa was also at, just days after they had decided to break up.

He was there with a date and he spent the whole time there showing everybody that, the National Enquirer reports (story via here). Zac’s date was a man, admittedly.

“Zac Efron stunned onlookers at a recent Hollywood event when he held hands and flirted with someone right under the nose of his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens – and it was a GUY!” the tabloid says.

“Zac – who recently ended his five-year romance with Vanessa – got cozy with a buff young man at a Dec. 18 NBA event at the W Hotel in LA, according to eyewitnesses,” Enquirer writes.

Initially, fellow partygoers believed Zac had only brought someone along to make Vanessa jealous, but, at a closer look, it really seemed that he was truly into his date.

“I was shocked at how relaxed and open Zac was with this guy. He walked around talking to him, smiling and holding his hand right in front of everyone, including Vanessa,” a spy says for the celebrity magazine.

“People were wondering if maybe it was a stunt to make Vanessa jealous. But truthfully, Zac really seemed into the guy,” the insider adds.

Confirmation that Zac wasn’t just putting on a show to get Vanessa jealous came when the two exes crossed paths shortly after the party began and they were very friendly towards each other.

“It was bizarre. That night at the party, Zac and Vanessa clearly weren’t together. But they still seem like friends,” the same spy says for the Enquirer.

As noted above, rumors about how Zac was only dating Vanessa to avoid coming out and thus alienate a large chunk of his female fanbase have been around for years.

He’s never taken the trouble to deny them, even laughing out loud and joking when directly asked about them. Chances are the same will happen now.
