Former “High School Musical” heartthrob Zac Efron recently showed the world that his dedication to making movies was big enough to allow him to change his appearance for a part. Now that he’s done with it, he’s trying to get his slim body back.

As we also reported a short while ago, in recent months, Efron has been rocking a much buffed-up look, mainly because he gained about 18 pounds in preparation for a movie role in the adaptation for Nicholas Sparks’ “The Lucky One.”

He’s done shooting for it now so, understandably, he wants to get back to his slim, toned self. In order to do that in the healthiest way possible, he’s enlisted some help from the professionals, says the Daily Mail.

The other day, Efron was pictured on set carrying a foods bag from Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition), a company that specializes in delivering food to dieters or those who are simply watching their calorie intake.

“The 23-year-old star has been pictured carrying a Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition) Foods cooler bag as he left a Hollywood studio. Z.E.N. is a diet delivery service that helps stars eat calorie-controlled meals,” the Mail reports.

“Customers receive a package of freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, plus a snack and dessert for a price of $50.45 (£31.55) a day,” the same publication notes.

“The average calories in the meals provided – for male customers – is 1,800 on the weight loss plan and 2,000 on the classic program,” the Mail explains.

Since Zac is trying to lose the extra pounds, it would be safe to assume his calorie intake right now is of about 1,800 calories.

Z.E.N. claims to offer its customers the best of both worlds: fresh and healthy food, with as fewer calories as possible, thus enabling them to keep their weight in check.

Because all the meals for a day are included in the pack – plus snack and dessert – it becomes that much easier for the dieter to avoid overeating or indulging in calorie-heavy treats.
